Hypnosis and Children

Is hypnosis used with children?  Yes!  Children have a great imagination and are in a state of hypnosis most of the time.  We live in a stressful world and sometimes stress can have a very negative impact on your child. Hypnosis helps them deal with the stress.

There are many issues children respond well to such as:  Self-confidence, self-esteem, nail biting, thumb sucking, fear of the dark, doctors, dentists, needles, tests, eating too much sugar or snack foods, food choices, shyness, new school, study skills, learning and memory, sleep issues and more.

You can have your hypnosis and/or coaching appointments on your computer in your own home or office.  Some clients find video chat easier because they live a long distance away, have no travel time, don’t have to get a babysitter or just personal preference.  You can be as comfortable as you want in your own setting.  Video chat is easy with your own computer, tablet or smart phone.  We use video chat for hypnosis and coaching sessions.  

How Do I Use Video Chat?

You will need a computer or tablet that has a microphone and a camera.  You can also use a smartphone.  We schedule our sessions with zoom, but we are flexible when someone is more comfortable using another service.  You will get an email with a link to your session after we schedule.  Click on the link about 5 minutes to your scheduled  appointment and the computer will download what it needs for the session.  You don’t have to have any additional technical knowledge.

How Do I Use a Phone?

It’s quite simple. After scheduling your session, you will receive an email confirmation. At the designated time, please be available. You can enjoy the comfort of your own home and get into a comfortable space with the phone on speaker. I will call your phone. It is recommended that you be in a place where you are not likely to be disturbed during our call. That does include pets, which I suggest you do not have in the room with you, but you are the best judge.
